Since it was either time to put this blog to death or revive it, I have decided to give it a go again. I was inspired by the lovely ladies at Paisley Print Shoes to be thankful and thoughtful this month.
Today I am thankful for hot showers.
Showers that I can take at home for as long as I want.....and then wrap up in my favorite towel.
I remember when Jennifer began her 11 month journey called the World Race.
DISCLAIMER - this is my two year old, unverified recollection of actual events.
While they were in Ireland they camped - which meant if you wanted a shower you used the public "rent-a-shower". You entered the bathroom/shower stall - shut the door - deposited multiple euros and tried to get your shower completed before the water shut off. (Sort of reminds of the do it yourself car wash I did last week!) Then you dried off and got dressed in the same area before entering the public space again. Interesting, to say the least.
And, suffice it to say, this was not the WORST showering experience she had on her travels.
Therefore, I AM thankful today for my shower.

you have a good memory. and i think we were supposed to have 5 minutes but half the time it was only 3.5.
